No fewer than four people, including a small boy, have died in an auto crash on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway today.
The accident, which happened in the early hours of Tuesday on the Iperu bridge, Ogere, involved an 18-passenger Bus (Mazda bus) and an unregistered truck.
The 18-passenger bus, with number plate YYY 412 XB heading towards Ogun State, crashed into the moving truck due to the non-functioning rear lights of the truck in front of it.

Also contributing to this horrific incident, according to Ahmed Umar, the Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps in Ogun State, was that the Mazda driver was at high speed.
Four passengers, including a young boy, died on the spot, and their remains were deposited in FOS Morgue in Ipara.

Some six lucky passengers that didn't lose their lives also sustained various injuries, and they are already in the Victory Hospital, where they are currently receiving treatment.
