Since Portable returned from Osun State, where he campaigned for Gov. Isiaka Oyetola, he has been busy throwing jabs back at people who criticized his actions. This was still making sense until it took another turn last Sunday when the fast-rising artist put himself into trouble that may land him in jail.

The Wahala musician Habeeb Okikiola, while responding to threats from unknown people who promised to deal with him following a face-off with David Adeleke (Davido), unknowingly claimed he was the founder of the notorious One-Million Boys gang.

For those who do not know this gang and what they do, One-Million Boys is a cultist group terrorizing Lagos and its environment years ago. While active, the gang was responsible for several robberies and murders of innocent lives from 2019 to 2020.

Although security operatives cracked down on this gang and were able to kill as many as possible, they also arrested several of this deadly gang. It is not certain that some of them would not have escaped during the crackdown, especially the smart, lucky ones like their commanders and sponsors.

Now, the Zazzu Crooner has foolishly disclosed in a viral video that he was one of the members of this wanted group, but not only that, he claimed to be its founder. The artist also mentioned some other names like that of his former promoter, Sammy Larry.

Thanks to internet Bloggers, the disturbing video trended so well and has caught the attention of the Nigerian Police Force. The Force Spokesperson, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, noted in a Facebook post that the Inspector General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba, had ordered an investigation of the celebrity.

Although the Ogun State-born artists retracted the statement hours after the news got to him, the Force may summon Portable anytime soon for investigation regarding his claim in the viral video. But the probability of this ending well is very slim. The reason is that apart from the recent statement that put him in trouble, he has repeatedly publicly said he belongs to Eiye Confraternity.

This means that even if the young artist can prove himself not to be the founder of the so-called One-Million Boys, he might not be able to wash off his membership of the Eiye Confraternity. If this happens to be the case, in the end, he might be the next celebrity to go to jail. More so, that could be the end of his career.

Portable is a controversial music artist discovered late last year. His journey began with popular music promoter, Kogbagidi, but he broke away along the line over money issues. Not long after, the music picked Ijoba Danku as his new manager. A few weeks later, the Wahala musician sacked the new manager and some of his team over some issues.

The 28-year-old musician is a garrulous individual. He also has this bad attitude of calling people out and saying gibberish on social media without caution. This display and lack of caution on social media have already put him in this trouble, which he will likely not win.
